Theory Hypersuit

Gamers at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas were wide-eyed and trembling when the new virtual-reality accessory from French company Theory was unveiled.

It’s a ‘suit’ which allows users to look even goofier –if that’s possible – while experiencing extreme virtual-reality experiences like base jumping, being in outer space and, best of all, a super-hero scenario.

The user lays in the suit and arm, leg and body movement all effect control.

In a final touch, at the CES a pedestal fan was set up in front of the suit so as users flew through the virtual world they had the tactile experience of forward movement as well.

A nice analog touch!

The Hypersuit is a ways from being available, but it’s in development. Search ‘Theory Hypersuit’ to keep up with availability.
