WTW checks out Masters Home Improvement trade offerings

Masters Home Improvement opened their 24th store in Chullora, Sydney on November 5 and WTW stopped by to  check out what the new hardware chain has to offer tradies.

Masters say the 13,200 square metre Chullora store offers over 35,000 products from tools, hardware and lighting to décor, kitchens and bathrooms. While much of their offering caters for the DIYer, all of their stores have a large dedicated drive-through trade area.

WTW was impressed with the range of products available off the shelf such as a large range of LVL, material that many other hardware stores would require to be pre-ordered.

Their trade range includes Panasonic Powertools, Hitachi, Bosch Blue, James Hardie, Boral, Stegbar, Fletchers, Carter Holt Harvey and Cement Australia. And they say they have more than 5,000 types of nuts and bolts among a range of other materials from cement, timber, doors and windows to insulation, roofing, flooring and ladders.

Masters trade centres open from 6am on weekdays and offer a 5 per cent discount and 60-day payment terms to Trade Member Card and Trade Account holders as well as access to trade-only offers, product updates, incentives and  competitions.

The current competition for trade members is a chance to win one of 23 x $10,000 boat packages. For every $100 spent at Masters, tradies with a Masters Trade Member Card will go in the draw to win a 4.2 metre Quintrex boat with a 30 horsepower Yamaha engine and trailer.

Those who also hold a Trade Account will receive an additional five entries for every $100 transaction.

To enter the competition, trade customers can apply for a Masters Trade Member Card in any Masters store. The competition ends November 30, with winners drawn and announced in December.

A Masters spokesman said they have a big rollout of stores planned with aims of 100 stores by 2016.
