That’s why each year thousands of tradies and students across the country take advantage of these onsite demos.
The Bosch Blue onsite team gather all the information of each site to help tradies get the most out of these visits including: the sector worked in, how often power tools are used, which tools get used the most and how many tradies work onsite.
This provides tradies with the opportunity to road test all the latest Bosch Blue tools with expert advice on hand regarding how to use them, how to get the best out of them as well as any other special features to be aware of.
The mobile onsite vans have become increasingly popular over the past few years, especially with TAFEs and training courses. Andrew Roberts,
the trade program coordinator at MEGT has integrated 3-4 annual onsite visits into the curriculum and says the students really see the benefits.
“Each year up to 150 students get an opportunity to compare and test the latest power tools from Bosch. Each visit lasts 2-3 hours, which gives them plenty of time to look at a range of tools as well as asking questions to the Bosch powertool expert. It is also great for the manufacturers to get feedback from the industry too, so they know if there is any gap,” said Andrew.
John Fraser, a qualified carpenter and building & construction teacher at Goulburn Oven Institute of TAFE in Shepparton has also been very impressed with the demonstrations they had earlier this year.
“We had two onsite Bosch Blue demonstrations for our apprentices, joiners and plumbers in 2011 and they were fantastic. They got to test a range of tools including sanders, saws, grinders and the Bosch cordless 18V range. Wayne from Bosch was very professional and I would highly recommend a Bosch Blue onsite visit. I’ve already booked more demonstrations for 2012,” said John.
